History of TRX
The TRX Suspension Trainer was developed by former US Navy SEAL Randy Hetrick. Searching for ways that he and his fellow SEALS could stay in peak physical condition was challenging as they often had limited access to training implements or space.
Starting out as parachute webbing, it has developed into a harness system that allows you to use your own body weight to build strength. The exercises performed on the TRX are multiplaner, which more closely mimics real life situations that require strength. One of the key advantages of TRX is that it allows for the explosive movement of plyometrics without the same stress upon landing.
Best of all, by adjusting body position, the level of difficulty of a particular exercise changes as well, making it appropriate for people at all fitness levels.
