David Buzzell, Massage Therapist
David Buzzell has been enjoying the benefits of holistic healing and bodywork for several years. Massage treatments and regular Qi Gong practice freed him from hip pain in 2011, which sparked his initial interest in bodywork. Reading books on both eastern and western healing modalities, like Hands of Light and The Web That Has No Weaver, only furthered his interest.
In 2013 that small spark led David to the Massage Therapy Program at Northern Virginia Community College. After a year of study he graduated and passed the MBLEX national certification exam. Now licensed in the state of Virginia, David is excited to use his knowledge and skills to help bring your body into aligned harmony. Through his passion and continuing study of holistic massage therapy, he can help you relax, restore balance and resolve chronic pain issues.
*BACK – David has completed his extensive training and is proud to now offer Thai Massage – on Tuesday’s by appointment only! More energizing and relaxing than many classic forms of massage, the benefits of Thai massage include: relaxation, reduced stress, improved circulation, energy and range of motion, and increased flexibility. The beauty of Thai massage comes from its simple complexity. No oils are involved and massage is done over the clothes!
In his free time, David enjoys an active lifestyle including yoga, Qi Gong and Frisbee golf. He appreciates good food and quiet afternoons reading.
